It is in the Southwest that my eyes opened, my creativity began to blossom, and my heart began to sing!  My interpretation of this area (as well as wherever my travels take me) is inspired by the landscapes, the peoples, the cultures, and the icons.  The textures of these elements are what intrigues me and draws me in to express.  The layering of the history, geology, psychology, and geography inspire me to create my layers; therefore, much of my work is sculptural: mixed media and collage.  Through the combining of these elements and the use of a variety of media, I express the Harmony of Nature in  my artistic environments.
